I am guardedly extremely optimistic about Kokomo.

His overall behavior really seems normal. He swings on his swing, moves around in his cage as he wants. His droppings look great and very healthy.

The crop puffiness which had been the most outward sign has greatly been reduced. Prior, he would perch with his crop puffed up the size of a baseball. He still puffs up a little but nothing as he did before and not constantly. When I begin feeding him you can hear him release the air and after feeding the crop seems to be normal.

When I began the Booster, three weeks ago, I stopped his meloxicam, so every improvement can only be attributed to the Booster.

The vocalizations that sounded like barking and I think were a sign of CNS involvement have not been occurring. That is extremely encouraging. Stopping the viral spread is fantastic.

My understanding of PDD is that the nerves controlling the digestive muscles, particularly in the proventriculus, have been damaged by the bornavirus. If the virus is stopped by the Booster, I am wondering if any regeneration of those nerves can occur allowing better digestion of solid foods down the road. I have always understood that it takes a long time for nerve damage to reverse. Yet to halt its progress is more than we have ever had before.

I hope you will share with me any findings on your end with the Booster. I am so hopeful and so far I can definitely see this improvement solely on the addition of the Booster.
